9 tipů jak vydržet s blogováním17.October
Jedním z tradičních problémů začínajících blogerů je udržení morálky a frekvence psaní nových příspěvků. Již několikrát jsem tady zmiňoval, že přes 80% nových blogů po pár dnech prostě skončí – autor zjistí, že jeho stránky nikdo nenavštěvuje, blogování ho přestane bavit, dojdou nápady a celkově opadné ono počáteční nadšení. Touto fází si musí projít každý, ale pouze ti co vytrvají mají šanci vybudovat úspěšný a populární web.
Existují ale určité tipy, které vám mohou s překonáním těžkého období pomoci. I po letech psaní na vás může přijít ona nálada, kdy se sami sebe zeptáte, zda vám to za to stojí, psát párkrát do týdne pro skupinu neznámých lidí. Aby vás podobné myšlenky vůbec nenapadaly, zkuste se řídit těmito radami:
1. Téma je alfa i omega
Extrémně důležitý poznatek, o kterém jsem se rozepsal v samostatném článku. Pokud zakládáte blog, měli byste ho psát o tématu, které je pro vás opravdu blízké a v kterém se dostatečně vyznáte. Jen tak se vyhnete omu “vyschnutí” nových nápadů a jen tak budete moci zaběhnout do hloubky probíraného materiálu. Jestli pracujete jako programátor, pak prostě pište o programování, o problémech s kterými jste se setkali a co zrovna řešíte. Téma blogu musí být něco, co máte rádi a do čeho se nebudete nutit. Z psaní musíte mít radost především vy.
2. Začněte zlehka
Nemá cenu si stanovovat od záčatku nereálné cíle. První okamžiky, dny a týdny budou pravděpodobně dost těžké a tak je lepší začít s nevelkými ambicemi a v případě narůstajícího úspěchu si trošku přidat. Nemůžete mít hned po prvním dni blogování stovky návštěvníků denně, ale časem se k této hranici můžete poměrně lehce dopracovat.
3. Udělejte z blogování váš zvyk
Stanovte si určitou frekvenci, s kterou budete psát. Pro začátek bych to nijak nepřeháněl, pár příspěvků za týden bude opravdu stačit. Musí se ale jednat o zajímavé články s určitou hodnotou pro čtenáře. Důležité je tuto frekvenci udržet. V případě rostoucí popularity můžete samozřejmě přejít třeba ne jeden nový článek denně, ale vždy je potřeba ohlídat onu kontinuality a té se držet.
4. Stanovte si přesný čas
Většina lidí má relativně hodně volného času, to pouze náš mozek nám neustále namlouvá, že máme něco lepšího na práci a nějaké volno vlastně vůbec neexistuje. Všechno je otázkou preferencí – a pokud chcete vytvořit úspěšný blog, měli byste z blogování udělat právě takovou preferenci, na kterou si vždycky najdete čas. Ideální je stanovení přesného času, třeba večer po zprávách, v polední přestávce, to už záleží na vás. Když se tohoto plánování budete držet, nemůže se vám stát, že najednou přijde den, kdy si prostě namluvíte, že volný čas nemáte. Takovýto okamžik je pak často začátkem konce.
5. Dělejte si poznámky
Vytvoření určitého seznamu je velice dobrou pomůckou pro budoucí příspěvky. Přečetli jste si v novinách zajímavý článek, který vás donutil k nějakému zamyšlení? Poznamenejte si vaše myšlenky a ve vašem pravidelném blogovacím čase se o nich zmiňte na vašich stránkách. Seznam takovýchto nápadů pro vás pak bude sloužit jako snadná inspirace pro nové články.
6. Nechte se inspirovat
Druhou metodou pro hledání inspirace pravidelné čtení ostatních blogů ve vaší oblasti. Ve vašem prohlížeči si vytvořte složku záložek těch stránek, které pravidelně informují o vývoji ve vaší problematice a čas od času si je projděte. Najdete tak snadno inspiraci pro vaše další psaní, které můžete využít i k získání nových návštěvníků (viz další bod). Pokud pracujete často na různých počítačích, vyplatí se použití služeb pro tvorbu záložek jako delicio.us.
7. Vytvořte si vztahy s ostatními blogery
Po přečtení nějakého toho komentáře na blogu vašeho kolegy můžete velice snadno získat část jeho čtenářů. Stačí poslat příspěvek reagující na jeho názor, s odkazem na originální článek. Velice údernou zbraní je také přidání nesouhlasného komentáře, s odkazem na váš web, kde detailněji rozeberete váš názor. Pokud se dostanete do podvědomí ostatních blogerů, i oni začnou reagovat na vaše příspěvky a vaše popularita i návštěvnost půjde nahoru. Tyto vztahy často končí i poznáním toho druhého v reálném světě, což se může opět velice hodit.
8. Komentujte chytře
Dobrým způsobem na přilákání nových návštěvníků pro vaše příspěvky je chytré komentování na ostatních stránkách. Co tím myslím? Je to snadné – zkuste se na napsání komentáře chvíli soustředit, aby za něco stál. Přidejte vaše praktické zkušenosti, nebojte se nesouhlasit. Kvalitní komentátor dokáže nalákat pozornost a náhodný čtenář pak bude zvědavý, bude si chtít přečíst více vašich názorů a zkušenosti, což logicky vyústí v náštěvu vašeho webu.
9. Pomáhejte ostatním
Pokud znáte řešení nějakého problému, nad kterým ostatní tápou, neváhejte ani okamžik s jeho zasláním na vašich stránkách. Kromě vřelých díků se pravděpodobně dočkáte i mnoha odkazů z ostatních blogů a vaše renomé značně stoupne. Já jsem například napsal několik jednoduchých pluginů pro WordPress a přineslo mi to prakticky bez práce desítky odkazů a zmínek na ostatních stránkách.

Nejhorší je ta pravidelnost
U mne je blogování silně nárazové – někdy několik příspěvků za den, někdy třeba taky jen jeden za měsíc. Souhlasím s tím, že hodně záleží na podnětech, které člověka k psaní popíchnou. A taky o cíli – pro mne je blogování oddych, nemám žádné mety v počtu čtenářů, odběratelů RSS atd … no třeba to taky jednou přijde a budu chtít blog monetizovat alespoň do té míry aby si vydělal na provoz. Ale zatím to nehrozí

Podle mýho by si měl jeden hlavně na začátku říct proč to dělá, co ho vede k založení blogu. Jestli je to jen to, že ho maj ostatní okolo, tak to samozřejmě nikdy nevydrží. Jinak pro blogování doporučuju rozhodně vlastní systém, je to mnohem lepší. Můj oblíbenej je wordpress.

3. Udělejte z blogování váš zvyk
Na co proboha udržovat nějakou frekvenci? Když mě napadne něco o čem si myslím že by mohlo lidi zajímat, napíšu o tom. Když ne, dám si pauzu. Kdyby se tím řídilo těch 95% takyblogerů co prostě obden musejí mít nový post, hned by se změnil poměr kvalitních informací a škváru. Je mi upřímně líto těch, co píšou vatu jen aby udrželi návštěvnost.
A nedá mi to, nedělejte prosím z blogování “váš” zvyk, ale svůj.
8. Komentujte chytře
Komentuj jako vymaštěný pako a čtenáři přijdou taky.
Chceš aby si tě všimli, přilep si na hlavu plyšovýho pštrosa a za pythonovské švihlé chůze broukej motiv Star Wars.
Až budou komentáře sloužit výhradně k účelu který autor popisuje, nebude třeba pole pro příspěvek – bude stačit URL.

Já kromě osobního (nepravidelného) blogu píšu taky video blog. Ten se snažím udržovat pravidelně – vybírám videa z YouTube i z TheDailyShow.com a komentuju je, případně dávám do souvislostí dvě videa nebo tak. Někdo mi psal, že to už ani není blog, co myslíte? Uznávám, že je to spíš takový filtr, ale je to docela čtené, a i já si tam chodím do svého archivu koukat na oblíbená videa
